As a Chicago-based engineering firm we seek to empower and enable stations to share information through new platforms such as DTV Multicasting, HD Radio, Web, and Mobile. These new content delivery methods allow stations to share, inform, and further their missions by reaching new audiences with HD multicast channels.
With the current allowance of elevated IBOC power, stations are now able to reach more listeners with static free reception along with better building penetration which will allow for more office space listening. Critical to these delivery methods is the development of content in the studio space of a community station, which means that broadcast and Production Studios should offer a collaborative space offering artistic inspiration, efficient work flows, and proper functioning equipment with the concept of function, redundancy and uptime.
